Weekend Review
Yesterday was Mother’s Day. I hope that everyone had a lovely day! I managed to have a long weekend but that didn’t mean that all the washing got done or any ironing… as much as I love getting all the domestic chores out of the way, I try not to let it detract from actually having a break on the weekends and enjoying the time at home.
I gave my mum a copy of the latest issue (as well as other things of course). I hope she enjoys the tribute to our mum’s.
My weekend sewing consisted of counting my endless chain blocks - I had 88, I need 120! I went through them and did a rough count of how many of each colour I’d made and got busy cutting some more red, blue and purples. Plus I managed to make four more blocks. Hopefully I’ll have them done soon….
